TWIN LAKES PLAY HOUSE NOV 9 THRU DEC ?

The Twin Lakes Playhouse
600 West Sixth St., Mountain Home, AR

In A Tuna Christmas, the latest production at Twin Lakes Playhouse, audiences are taken to Tuna, Texas, a fictional town that proudly declares it is the state’s “third smallest town.”

Christmas is just around the corner and the town is in turmoil!

Thurston Wheelis and Arles Struvie, from radio station OKKK report the latest events including, the mysterious “Christmas Phantom,” known for vandalizing yard displays, who is threatening the annual Yard Display Contest. The same contest Vera Carp has won 14 times in a row!

Stanley Bumiller is making plans to end his probation and skip town, while Bertha Bumiller tries to hold her family together to celebrate Christmas. Meanwhile, Joe Bob Lipsey is struggling to successfully stage his production of “A Christmas Carol”, despite numerous obstacles that keep coming his way.

A Tuna Christmas is the second in a series of comedies written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard. The plays take an affectionate look at life in small Southern towns and the eccentric and colorful characters often found in these communities.

Performances are

Friday and Saturday evenings at 7
and with Sunday matinees at 2.
