Mountain Home administrative secretary Roberta Pack and Baxter office executive secretary Chrissy Ford May is the first day for their Farmers Markets to open for the season. The markets will continue through the Saturday following Thanksgiving.

The hours of operation are on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 6 a.m. to sundown. Every vendor must display a sign with their name, address and phone number, and whether the vendor is a “grower” or a “reseller.” Other markets open in May.
The town of Lakeview operates a Farmers Market in Lakeview City Park on Fridays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., which is set to opens in May
Yellville’s Farmers Market also opens later, held on Saturday evenings beginning May 2017 and continuing through the second weekend of September, said market manager Katherine Quinn. It is held in conjunction with the Yellville Music on the Square on Saturday evenings from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The vendor fee for the season is $10. Mountain Home “Friday Night Music on the Square”
Mountain Home Arkansas will begins in June starting at 6 pm. the local music entertainers continue into the evening through the summer, some shops and food vendors will be open and available. Bring the family, lawn chairs and enjoy a wonderful community event. Friday night music ends in August, said Tina Gregory, office manager for Mountain Home Mayor David Osmon. The summer event provides free entertainment by area musicians.
