MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY TODAY
MOUNTAIN HOME Memorial Day Ceremony today 
The annual Memorial Day Ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at the Veteran’s Plaza in downtown Mountain Home. The ceremony is open to the public.

BULL SHOALS — The Bull Shoals VFW Hoevel-Barnett Post 1341, 206 Central Blvd., in Bull Shoals, has the following events scheduled:
Today Memorial Day Flag Ceremony at Newton Flats Cemetery in Bull Shoals from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Come see a beautiful flag display and short service to honor veterans.

We are blessed with many indoor places to explore.  Yes there are many stores in town to walk thru and do some shopping.  But we also have an beautiful Library complete with coffee shop, children's lower level and computers to work on.  Magazines and books galore.  Open Saturday of the holiday weekend. 


We have two movie theaters Sun Valley and the  Baxter Cinema  click to see whats playing.

Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock presents the 7th Annual Mark Dobbs Memorial Boat Poker Run on Sunday, May 28, 2017!

Last minute sign-ups at 11:00 am, Run starts at 12:00 pm, All boats must return by 5:00 pm.

1st Place:  $1,000.00 CASH!

Registration Fee:  $50.00/boat (includes 2 t-shirts)
Additonal Hands:  $15.00
Additional Shirts:  $10.00

Pre-Registration starts on May 15, 2017 (t-shirts are first come, first served)

Please join us at the Mountain Home Square on this Memorial Day to remember those who gave their lives to keep our Country safe and our American Way of Life.

Contact Dan Hall if you would like to help the Veterans in our area.  Dan is the co-ordinator of the Van program.  They need drivers to carry our Vets to the Little Rock Clinic.  If you have the time and wish to give back please contact Dan at 870-421-2322

In addition to our regular Tuesday- Saturday week of craft demonstrations and music, The Craft Village will be open Sunday and Monday for the Memorial Day holiday. Activities throughout this weekend will include music and hands-on programs in the Craft Village.
